This year's BSG-funded Kilburn Debate again brings together activists, service-users and older residents with local policy-makers and researchers as guests of Camden Council and Kilburn Older Voices Exchange (KOVE). The morning session sees BSG President, and OU Professor, Sheila Peace and Rita Newton, from Salford's Centre for the Built Environment, presenting on older people's contribution to research in public space and the street itself. From 1.30pm local filmmaker Claire Cresswell will show two of her recent animations alongside two of KOVE's own documentary films made with Nick Foxell. In the afternoon Camden principal transport planner Jacqueline Saunders explains new proposals for Kilburn High Road and is joined by Professor Colin Haylock of Newcastle University for the day's keynote discussing new developments in London and elsewhere. The day starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. A limited number of places are still available. Admission, and lunch (taken alongside users of the centre), is free. A location map can be found here: http://www.camden.gov.uk/ccm/content/contacts/non-council-contacts/contact-the-kingsgate-resource-centre/
