The British Society of Gerontology's (BSG) Emerging Researchers in Ageing (ERA) are co-hosting a free one day event with the Keele Centre for Ageing Research.

With funding becoming ever more competitive, writing successful grant applications is a valuable skill. This free one day event is aimed at giving PhD students and Early Career researchers an insight into the grant writing process. Delegates will have the opportunity to learn from experienced grant writers about what it takes to develop a successful research proposal, how to involve older people in the research, and what funding panels look for in grant applications.

The event aims to provide learning and engagement opportunities for emerging academic researchers, across disciplines.
