Join BSGmail, the British Society of Gerontology JISCmail list
Join our email distribution list and we will send you the latest news and research direct to your pc.

You can join, leave and post a message to the BSGmail list via the JISCmail website by following the onscreen commands.

https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=bsgmail
________________________________________

To join, or subscribe to the BSGmail list yourself

Send an email to jiscmail_at_jiscmail.ac.uk, leaving the subject box blank and the following two- line command in the body of the mail:

join BSGMAIL firstname lastname
--

The second command line is two minus signs - this stops JISCmail trying to process any signature information which may be appended to your email message.
You will receive a subscription confirmation message. Just respond to this message and your subscription will be complete.

To submit a message to BSGmail:

Send your message to BSGMAIL_at_JISCMAIL.AC.UK. The BSGmail moderator will then approve the mailing before it is circulated to the list.

Top Tips to ensure your message is quick and easy to read and thereby well disseminated:

* Ensure that the subject line contains the relevant topic (list members can then easily recognise the relevance (or not) of the message).

* Add all relevant details/content to the body of the message (avoid attachments as the JiscMail system does not like them, instead include all relevant information in the body of the message).
