Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh - International Course in Medicine of the Older Adult 2018

We are holding our popular five-day Edinburgh International Course in Medicine of the Older Adult from Monday 14 - Friday 18 May 2018.

It is 40 years since we welcomed our first delegates to this course and we are delighted to invite you to join us in 2018. Aimed at senior-level geriatricians from the UK and abroad, the course provides a great networking opportunity as well as updates on policy and practice of elderly medicine in the UK. This year the programme focusses on the ‘geriatric giants’, with day topics on mobility, cognition, continence, common comorbidities, and frailty. Partial attendance is possible.

There is also an attractive social programme including a welcome reception in the historic College buildings, a bus tour through Edinburgh’s medical history, and two free afternoons to explore our beautiful city.
