The Edinburgh International Course in Medicine of the Older Adult takes place from Monday 18 - Friday 22 May 2020. Run annually by the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, it attracts approximately 100 senior-level geriatricians from around the world. The course provides updates on the theory and practice of geriatric medicine as well as a great networking opportunity. This year the course includes the following sessions:

• The Acutely Ill Older Person • Pathways of Care • Haematology and Oncology in the Older Adult • The Later Stages of Care • Breathlessness in the Older Frail Adult • The Senses • Bones and Joints • Neurology

There is also an attractive social programme and two free afternoons to explore our beautiful city. Delegates can attend the full course or individual days only.
