The Department of Gerontology and Centre for Research on Ageing, University of Southampton, are nearing their 20th Anniversary. To celebrate, we are organising a Gerontology Reunion on Friday, 19th June 2026, at the University of Southampton. We aim to The event aims to bring together former Gerontology students and staff to network, reminisce, and share experiences of studying and working in the area of Ageing/Gerontology.

The timing for the event falls on the Friday before the British Society of Gerontology’s (BSG) Emerging Researchers in Ageing (ERA) Conference (22nd-23rd June) and the BSG Annual Conference (24th-26th June 2026), both taking place in Oxford, which is within easy reach by train from Southampton.
