This multidisciplinary meeting will bring together geriatricians, cardiologists, nurses and allied health professionals for an overview of heart failure, specifically from a geriatric perspective.

This meeting is association with the RSM Cardiology Section.

Meeting topics:

- The differences in the management and approach of heart failure in older patients, as well as their comorbidities such as frailty - The relative risks and benefits of intensive cardiac medical management, devices and surgery in older patients - The importance of a multidisciplinary and integrated approach in management of the older person with heart failure both in and outside the hospital

Aimed at geriatricians and cardiologists, trainees, general practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals who are involved in the multidisciplinary management of older people, especially in those with cardiac disease.
