This free event that is generously funded by the British Society of Gerontology Small Grants scheme is aimed at helping people and organisations who work in the areas of ageing and/or intergenerational relationships to embed creative methods and utopian thinking into their work.

This is a follow-up event from the research project Reimagining the Future in Older Age, which was led by Dr Melanie Lovatt at the University of Stirling and Gavin Crichton, Artistic Director of Active Inquiry. The project explored how we can reimagine ageing to think about what we desire, as well as need, as we age.

We developed a Creative Toolkit to help organisations embed more creativity, imagination and aspiration into their work. At this workshop you will:

get a free copy of the toolkit learn how to use the activities from the creative toolkit in your own work meet other people working in ageing and/or intergenerational relationships gain the confidence to take creativity and utopian thinking back to your work place **********************

This event includes refreshments on arrival and mid-morning but not lunch.
