We will take a critical and discursive approach to the topic and encourage participants to bring their own questions and issues. We will draw on our own work using visual methods in funded research to share with participants how the methods work (or not!) in the real world of applied health and care research.

The tutors have (combined) over 40 years’ experience of health-related research and have incorporated visual methods into a number of funded studies with participants across the life-course. We have several doctoral students who have used visual methods.
