Co-Production within Research: Insights from Bristol & Torbay
Free webinar: Thursday 25th February 11:00 – 11:50 Register here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/co-production-within-research-insights-from-bristol-torbay-tickets-137442952571 Are you an organisation interested in working together with members of the public to carry out research? Do you wonder how a co-production approach can be applied within a research setting?

In this 50 minute webinar, the Ageing Better programmes in Bristol and Torbay will share some of their key learning and recommendations about co-production within research.

The webinar will first briefly outline the models used in Bristol and Torbay, and the factors to consider at the very beginning when you are supporting members of the public to carry out research. It will then focus in detail on the types of support needed for these researchers in order for this to be a success.

This webinar is open to all but will be particularly valuable for voluntary sector organisations, local authorities, community health providers and universities looking to undertake this form of co-production in their own work.

While these insights are based on research that has been co-produced with people aged 50+, we believe they also apply to other projects and target populations.

The webinar will be followed by a toolkit of resources about co-production in research, which will be available in May 2021. If you have any questions please get in touch with Claire Chivers by emailing clairechivers@ageukbristol.org.uk or phoning 0117 928 1539. This webinar will be on Zoom, a link with joining instructions will be sent out to you prior to the session.
