Our Wellcome-funded
Interception study (examining the care journeys of minoritised ethnic people with multiple long term health conditions led by
Dr Brenda Hayanga working with
Dr Sujith Kumar Prankumar), is hosting a series of
free online smartphone photography workshops exploring how photographs can tell stories about health, wellbeing, and everyday life.
The sessions will take place via Zoom on 18 July, 25 July, and 1 August (11am–12pm) and will be led by a professional photographer. The sessions are open to everyone, with no experience required. The workshops have been developed in partnership with our Patient and Participant Involvement and Engagement group.
Participants will also have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the public “Duality" event in London at the Exchange (Bush House, King’s College London) on 8 September and compete for prizes.
If you know anyone who might be interested, we would be grateful if you could share details about these activities with relevant people in your networks.
Thank you.
Best wishes
Brenda and Sujith
