eLife has published a new special issue on ageing, geroscience and longevity
The special issue marks the rapid progress made in this field over the past decade, both in terms of mechanistic understanding and translational approaches that are poised to have clinical impact on age-related diseases.

To support the launch of the issue, eLife Senior Editors Matt Kaeberlein (University of Washington, US) and Jessica Tyler (Weill Cornell Medicine, New York, US) explore a new era for research into aging in their eLife Editorial: https://doi.org/10.7554/eLife.65286.
