Enhancing our understanding of later life

We are delighted to confirm that the first issue of the Journal of Global Ageing will publish in May 2024.

The COST Programming action aims to improve the care of older people across Europe, through improving training and education for non-geriatricians. We are carrying out a survey of healthcare professionals, researchers and social workers to understand educational interests and training needs regarding older people. Re-launch of the BSG Scotland group via new Twitter/X account and mailing list.

Established in 1994, the Averil Osborn Award seeks to promote and support work which enhances the participation and leadership of older people in research. Awards are made annually. The panel are seeking new panel members to join the current established team. We are also seeking a new Secretary to the Panel as the current Secretary is stepping down after serving since 2019.
