The Office for National Statistics is seeking feedback to support the development of statistics measuring the number of people in care homes who are ‘self-funders’ – meaning they either fully or partially pay for their own care. ?

We are writing to you because we believe these statistics may be of interest to your organisation and would greatly value your input in helping us address this key evidence gap.

We have today published an experimental, or ‘beta’ version of how we might be able to measure the number of self-funders in England. We would be grateful if you could take some time to give us some initial feedback by completing this short survey.
