In this film, participants reflect on some of the ways in which British gerontology has evolved since the establishment of the British Society of Gerontology in 1971. They discuss the Society’s contributions to building the gerontological knowledge base; highlight the growth of sister organisations in the field; consider the emergence of educational courses; and acknowledge the impact of funding initiatives.
