Around 3.3 million people in the UK are aged 80 and over, with a huge diversity of abilities, interests and backgrounds. And yet, the images we see of older people don’t do these justice.
That’s why the Centre for Ageing Better has launched a free library of positive and realistic images of people aged 50 and over. The images, which depict older people in non-stereotypical ways, are free to download and use online and in print.
–The Centre for Ageing Better has created a free image library, containing over 400 photos of older people in a range of settings
–The library also contains a range of free-to-use ‘age-positive’ icons launched to replace stereotypical symbols of ageing
