ARK Ageing Programme
Queen's University Belfast and Ulster University

The aim of the ARK Ageing Programme is to explore what it means to be older in Northern Ireland, with a focus on inter-disciplinary studies of ageing.  This involves collaborations with colleagues in history, material culture and linguistics to expand the boundaries of knowledge of our ageing societies.  The team also undertakes the analysis of cross-sectional and longitudinal survey data to help understand public attitudes, knowledge and behaviour relating to key social policy issues.  An important ethos underpinning all our work is societal and policy impact.
