Two £5000 Scholarships are available for our Masters programmes in Gerontology / Global Ageing and Policy The Department of Gerontology, University of Southampton, offers a range of postgraduate programmes for a September 2026 start-date, including MSc Gerontology and MSc Global Ageing and Policy, as well as PhD in Gerontology. ? Interdisciplinary and international perspectives on ageing and later life; ? Focus on health, social and economic inequalities, long-term care, intergenerational relations & policy planning; ? Advanced training in research methods, data analysis & transferable skills; ? Flexible study options: in person or fully distance learning, full time or part time, stand-alone CPD courses. These programmes are tailored to mid career professionals with a background in medicine, allied health professions, public health, or social work seeking progression into leadership, strategic, or specialist roles across health and social care, policy, research, third sector organisations, design, and innovation. Our MSc programmes also provide an excellent foundation for PhD study (in-person or distance learning).
