Next Years’ BSG conference will be hosted by the University of Reading with the conference theme of ‘Identity, Care and Everyday Life’. We are excited to announce that our plenary speakers will include:

Anne Martin-Matthews, Scientific Director and Professor, Institute of Aging, Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canada

Fiona Ross, Dean and Professor of Primary Care Nursing, St George’s, University of London, UK

Cherry Russell, Associate Professor, School of Behavioural and Community Health Sciences, University of Sydney, Australia

Julia Twigg, Professor of Social Policy and Sociology, University of Kent, UK

As well as many interesting and stimulating papers and posters, when you need a break from the academic programme, you can go for a stroll across out campus which is situated in green open spaces, woodland walks, rare trees, wildlife, large lake and conservation area.

Just a few dates for you to put in your diaries:

  • Submission of symposium proposals: by 29th January 2010
  • Earlybird registration, up to and including: 7th May 2010
  • Full programme available: by 30th April 2010
