New books launched at the BSG Conference
Jessica Hughes
The Policy Press
Malcom Dean
Simon Evans

At this year’s British Society of Gerontology conference (2-4 September 2009) The Policy Press launched Unequal ageing, edited by Paul Cann and Malcolm Dean, and three new titles in our Ageing and the Lifecourse Series: Community and ageing, by Simon Evans, Ageing in urban neighbourhoods, by Allison E. Smith, and Family practices in later life, by Pat Chambers, Graham Allan and Chris Phillipson and Mo Ray.

Judith Phillips, the Series Editor, Simon Evans and Malcolm Dean all said a few words about the recently published books and highlighted the importance of this growing area, especially in the light of the forthcoming election. The event was a great success. Thanks to all the editors and authors and to all of those who came along.

Information about all of the books can be found at www.policypress.co.uk
