The 37 th Annual Conference of the British Society of Gerontology
Bristol from the 4 th to the 6 th of September, 2008
Simon Evans
  • We are delighted to announce that the Boil and Bubble theatre group will be putting on a special performance at the conference on Thursday (4 th) evening. Boil and Bubble are a newly formed, Bristol based theatre company who aim to provide entertaining and thought-provoking theatre for a wide-ranging audience, while giving opportunities to older writers, actors, directors, designers and technicians, especially women. They also want to challenge stereotypes by demonstrating how wide, colourful and fascinating the lives, interests, experiences and abilities of most older people are.
  • Please send in your abstracts for paper and poster presentations by 30th April. Your proposals for symposia are also welcome up to and including the 28th March.

Submission details are on the conference website at www.bsg2008.org.uk

Here you can also find everything else you need to know about the conference, including how to register, the conference programme and biographies of our exciting speakers.

We look forward to welcoming you to Bristol in September.
