Hi all,

My name is Dr Lisa Davison, I am a research fellow at the University of Stirling and am involved in the BSG through a number of channels, my main role being the Incoming Chair for the Emerging Researchers in Ageing (ERA) group.

I’m currently working alongside Prof. Louise McCabe (University of Stirling) and Dr. Jo Alexjuk (University of Edinburgh) to re-launch the Scottish division of the British Society of Gerontology (BSG Scotland) as our membership has dwindled since pre-pandemic.

We’ve recently created a Twitter / X account (@BSG_Scotland), please do go give us a follow! And I’m starting up a mailing list from our new email account.

We hope to be signposting and sharing Scotland based events etc. to those working in gerontology/ageing-related subjects in Scotland and at a later date organise some of our own events.
