Confirmed contributors include:

Martin Hyde - Professor of Management, British Society of Gerontology President George MacGinnis - Former Challenge Director, Healthy Ageing Challenge, UKRI Professor George Crooks OBE - Chief Executive, Digital Health and Care Institute John Wall - Co-Founder of MiiHealth AI & MiiCare Julian Turner - CEO, Centaur Robotics Eric Kihlstrom - UK Ambassador, Aging2.0 Eilidh Bowman - Advanced Care Research Centre, University of Edinburgh

This is the first of an exciting series of events by the Special Interest Group focused on how we can harness innovation to help people live with meaning and purpose as they age.

?? Why this conversation matters:

?? Artificial intelligence and robotics are rapidly changing how we work, communicate, receive care and support, move through the world and live independently. For an ageing society, these technologies offer significant possibilities: supporting physical and cognitive capability, enabling independence and participation, transforming health and care, and creating new products, services and markets.

?? This interactive event will bring together perspectives from #innovation, health and care, #business, investment and #gerontology. Drawing on experience from the UK's Healthy #Ageing Challenge and three contrasting real-world innovations, it will explore what AI and robotics can do and ask how we can leverage #AI and robotics to enable people to continue doing the things that give their lives meaning and purpose as they age?
