Multi-Species Dementia: Innovations Through Multi-Species Relations
Event Type:
Workshop
Date:
04 March 2020 - 05 March 2020
Following the BSG-funded ‘Dementia & Multi-Species Caring: Current Practice & Future Possibilities’ workshop in May 2019, researchers at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) are developing a network of academics and practitioners from across disciplines, interested in exploring multi-species approaches to dementia research, policy and practice. Further details of the project, including details of past activities and current list of project members can be found here: https://multispeciesdementia.org.

With funding from Wellcome Trust, we shall be facilitating a series of three development meetings over the course of 2020, through which we shall be co-developing conceptual tools and frameworks that will enable us to think differently about dementia (across species & disciplines) and to develop new lines of practical and scholarly enquiry.

The first of these workshops will be held on 4th-5th March 2020 at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) Paisley Campus, near Glasgow. If you are interested in joining the network and finding our more about the programme of workshops, please register an interest via our website: https://multispeciesdementia.org/contact-us-2/
